Zillow Mortgage Marketplace reports Texas mortgage rates for 30-year fixed-rate mortgages increased 1 basis point from 4.36% to 4.37% on Wednesday. State mortgage rates ranged from the lowest rate of 4.25% (HI) to the highest rate of 4.75% (NV). Currently, Texas mortgage rates are 3 basis points lower than the national average of 4.40%.

The Texas mortgage rate on July 28, 2010, is up 4 basis points from last week's average Texas rate of 4.33%.
